SEDS, founded in 1980 at MIT and Princeton, is an independent, student-based organization that promotes the exploration and development of space. Users can join or start Chapters according to directions online.

Georgia Tech, located in Atlanta, was founded in 1885. In 1961, it was the first university in the Deep South to admit African-American students without a court order.
Kent State, founded in 1910, is located in Kent, Ohio. There are seven other branches in Northeast Ohio. Kent State is well-known as the place where several students were killed during a 1970 war protest.
UCL was founded in 1826 as an alternative to universities that were only open to members of the Church of England. The School is famous for many things, among them the living icon of Jeremy Bentham.
UCSC, which opened in 1965, has a current enrollment of about 15,000 students. The Graduate program has an enrollment of approximately 1,400, including an unusual interdisciplinary program in the History of Consciousness.
The University of Kentucky, located in Lexington, was founded in 1865. There are more than 27,000 students enrolled at UKY; 71% of whom are undergraduates.
The University of Michigan with 24,500 undergraduates and 13,500 graduate students, is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is one of the top-ranked schools by U.S. News and World Report.
